The Zaniac Eugene Theatre reviews
Maybe I'm Still Amazed
The performance was not selfish, although you could see his genuine love for performing. He made sure the audience received what they wanted, displaying maturity that was rare. Witnessing a selfless performer these days is a rarity. His voice, which started reasonably well, grew stronger as he sang, transitioning effortlessly from hard rocking rock to ballads without any negative effects on his voice, only benefits. Equally gifted was his band, keeping up with his magical playing. One drawback was the direct lighting used multiple times in conjunction with the rhythm of the music, which I found distracting. The sound quality at Petco Park was excellent! Video screens were essential to see him. The Zaniac's performance made him seem like he's in his early thirties at 72 years old - I didn't mention twenties because of his maturity. I would definitely pay to see The Zaniac perform again!
